This song was composed by Sri Swamigal on the Guru Poornima day. The song was released in the August edition of Madhura murali last year. Reading this wonderful song, many were eager to know who the Guru referred to in the song was.

Sri Swamigal's reply was, " The song was written on the Guru Poornima Day. Great saints like Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Sri Vallabhar, Nimbarkar, Harivamsar, Gnaneswarar have taken Srimad bhagavatham as their very life-breath and had taken the path of Sri Krishna Keertanam as the purpose of their life. They had spent every moment of their life in the service of the Lord, whereby establishing a spiritual lineage, which is continuing to this day. This song is for all such Mahatmas.
