Prayer

Once, a group of devotees from Tutucorin had come to have darshan of Bhagavãn Yogi Ramsuratkumar. They had already informed their Guru, Bhagavãn Yogi Ramsuratkumar, of their intended visit. When they were having darshan of Bhagavãn Yogi Ramsuratkumar, a few foreigners came there to have Bhagavãn's darshan. Bhagavãn welcomed them, conversed with them for some time, blessed them with 'prasad' and asked them to leave. However, these foreigners had no heart to take leave of Bhagavãn. They desired to stay a while more in Bhagavãn's Sannidhi. But, Bhagavãn did not permit it.

The devotees from Tutucorin asked, "Bhagavãn! We come from this country. And, from Tutucorin which is not very far. We can come to have your darshan quite frequently. But, these people have come from abroad. They desired to stay in your Sannidhi for some more time. Why did you not permit it?" Bhagavãn said, "You may be coming from Tutucorin. But, all of you have come here to see only me. Though these people have come from abroad, they have not come here to meet only me but would be going in search of several Sãdhus. Moreover, whatever blessing my Father (the Lord) desired to bestow on them, through this beggar, it has been given."

Therefore, when we go to offer our prayers or go for the darshan of Mahãns/Guru, we should go only with that one purpose in mind.
