Brahmotsavam
Day 5: Garuda Vahanam

It was Ekadasi day. Bhagavan was decorated on the Garuda Vahanam
(The same Vahanam is used on Vaikunda Ekadasi also) in the morning.

Devotees were eagerly expecting the evening! The program for
the evening was Nikunjotsavam; Sri Madhurisaki and Sri Premika
Varadan were placed in a swing decorated with flowers with a
nicely ornamented back drop. Our Lord was ready to enjoy the
concert of Sri Balamurali Krishna.

The concert started at about 7pm. The 2 hours that followed
was an event none could ever forget. All the songs were on
Hari and the musical genius of Sri Balamurali Krishna was
very much apparent. The song which captured everybody's heart was
"Hariye Gathi...". The concert ended with a lively thillana.

In short, it was a rare opportunity to all present there, to
listen and enjoy the songs rendered wonderfully by Sri Balamurali
Krishna in such close proximity.
