Brahmotsavam Day 2: Sesha Vahanam
|
The first Vahanam for Bhagavan was the Sesha(Snake) Vahanam.
|
|
A large number of devotees turned up at Madhurapuri
to follow the Lord to Malaipattu Village, since it was a Saturday.
The constant singing of and dancing to the Lord's names was the
highlight of the Procession. The Lord also witnessed "Uri Adi"
(a village sport) in two places.
|
|
Sri Swamigal was warmly welcomed
by one and all in the village with love and devotion. The whole
procession from Madhurapuri to Malaipattu and back took about 4
hours; but because the devotees were with the Lord and Sri Swamigal,
and since they were constantly singing the glories of the Lord, 4
hours flew past as four minutes!!
It was about midnight when Sri Swamigal performed Dolotsavam to the Lord.
