Brahmotsavam
Day 2: Sesha Vahanam

The first Vahanam for Bhagavan was the Sesha(Snake) Vahanam.

A large number of devotees turned up at Madhurapuri to follow the Lord to Malaipattu Village, since it was a Saturday. The constant singing of and dancing to the Lord's names was the highlight of the Procession. The Lord also witnessed "Uri Adi" (a village sport) in two places.

Sri Swamigal was warmly welcomed by one and all in the village with love and devotion. The whole procession from Madhurapuri to Malaipattu and back took about 4 hours; but because the devotees were with the Lord and Sri Swamigal, and since they were constantly singing the glories of the Lord, 4 hours flew past as four minutes!!

It was about midnight when Sri Swamigal performed Dolotsavam to the Lord.
