The Master's Mantra
Sri Sri Swamiji -
An intelligent man is able to comprehend high and complicated matters within no time. But, it takes a long time for a fool to understand them. Likewise, very little spiritual practice will suffice for Avatãra purushas to control the mind and yearn Bhagavat darshan while others need to do sãdhana for a long time.
The moment we come in contact with a Sadguru we are cleansed of all our sins. We become pure. Thus, it is not right to then think of us as sinners.

Sri Sri Swamiji's Song: Rãga: Desh
Pallavi
Poiyyum purattum…
Poiyyum purattum pala seidhu
Polladha kannan endru peyarum vãngi
Allal paduthuginrai kannã nee ennai
Thuyaril ãzhthuginrai nee ennai

The Translation:
Pallavi
Doing so many tricks and pranks
Being named as 'Naughty One'
You are distressing me O! Krishna
You are plunging me in grief!
Charanam
Worry not O! Mother! It is a top secret.
I will tell this only to you, not to anyone else
There are books and schools to learn righteousness
As also elders in the country
To teach tricks and pranks, other than me
Are there books or schools or others ?
Not anticipating any result, I'm doing a great service
Do not grieve O! Mother, Do bless me!

The Paduka
Sriman Nigamãntha Desikan, a great Vaishnava Saint lived from
mid-thirteenth to mid-fourteenth century- 1268-1369. Of the innumerable
'Granthas' (texts) written by Him
the highly revered and considered as the most extraordinary piece is His
"Pãduka Sahasram" - a thousand verses on the 'Pãduka' of Lord Ranganãtha.
The Saint has in all composed 1008 verses, the last eight apologizing
in all humility for daring to compose these 1000 verses on the Pãduka!
Sri Desikan's contemporary Sri Appayya Dikshitar had written a
commentary on the "Pãduka Sahasram" but unfortunately it has been lost.

Oh! Paduke!
Though all-powerful to destroy
the asuras, singly in One Form
the Lord took several Forms
- Bharata, Shatrughna and the rest
with the desire to serve You!
