'A sojourn into divinity' Sri Sri Swamiji speaks here of His Divine experience to show that every action of ours is indeed noticed by the Lord. “On the Jayanthi day of kanchi Sri Maha Periyava, Sri Chandrasekarendra Saraswati Swami, I was meditating in the Madhurapuri Ãshram. in the morning. At that juncture, a cute Ganesha came gently ambling across. He walked so beautifully with a beautiful crown, anklets and pleasant face in a white attire. Thus charming Vignesha has come with so much love only to see his maternal uncle - our Premika Varadhan. That evening 'Odhuvãrs' (Traditional recitors of Tamil hymns dedicated and sung in praise of Lord Shiva) came from Thiruvannãmalai and recited 'Devãram' (Tamil hymns sung by Nãyanmars who were devotees of Lord Shiva). I came and sat in the Bhagavata Bhavanam to listen to 'Devãram'. Immediately, Premika Varadhan came and sat beside me. I said-"O! Premika Varadha! This is Devãram music in praise of Lord Shiva. You go and sit in your place." At once, Premika Varadhan said, "Don't I like Devãram? Or don't I like Lord Shiva? Would I not listen to Devãram? I have come here to listen to Devaram only!" Saying so, he sat there and enjoyed even Devãram music so much.” Note: The extract given above is not a figment of imagination. These are intense spiritual experiences, which His Holiness has condescended to reveal. Such spiritual experiences cannot be possibly appreciated unless the reader either believes in such spiritual experiences or he/she himself has had a taste of similar experiences. Any discrepancy/lapse in the translated version of the essay is the sole responsibility of the person/s who translated the work from Tamizh into English.
