December 16, 2005 to January 14, 2006

Special 'Dhanur' Month pooja was performed to Mãdhuri Sakhi sametha Sri Premika Varadan at Madhurapuri Ãshram as well as at Mahãranyam Sri Kalyãna Srinivãsa Perumãl temple.

 

January 1st, 2006

Sri Sri Swamiji performed puja to Sri Mãdhuri Sakhi sametha Sri Premika Varadan.
Akhanda Maha Mantra Sankirtan of "Hare Rama Hare Rama..." was performed at Mahãranyam Sri Kalyãna Srinivãsa Perumãl Temple from 10 am to 4 pm. In the evening, a Sri Bhakta Kutoohalan was taken on a procession inside the temple.

 

January 10th - Vaikunta Ekãdasi

In view of Vaikunta Ekãdasi, Sri Sri Swamiji performed Thirumanjanam and puja to Mãdhuri Sakhi sametha Sri Premika Varadhan at Madhurapuri Ãshram. At about 7:00 pm, Mãdhuri Sakhi Sametha Sri Premika Varadan was taken on a procession in 'Garuda Vãhana'. Divya Nãma Kirtan was performed in night, which continued till 3:00 am the next day.

  
In the Kalyãna Srinivãsa Perumãl temple, Dhanur Puja and the opening of the 'Parama pada Vãsal' took place in the morning.
8:00 am - 6:00 pm: Sri Rama Nãma Kirtan was performed by the devotees of Kanjangãd Ãnandãsram, Sri Pappa Ramadãs.

  
In the evening, the Utsava Moorthi Bhakta Kutoohalan was taken on a procession inside the temple. The devotees of Bhagavãn Yogiramsuratkumãr performed Akhanda Nãma Kirtan throughout the night.

 

January 12th, 13th

Sri Sri Swamiji participated in the Rãdha Kalyãnam celebrations at Perambur village near Mannãrkudi in Tamizh Nãdu.

 

January 14th-16th

Pravachan at Sri CCVV Trust, Coimbatore Sri Sri Swamiji participated in the Rãdha Kalyãnam celebrations conducted by Sri Chandrashekara Bharati Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati Veda Vidyãlaya Trust (Sri CCVV Trust), Perur Chettipãlayam, Coimbatore. Sri Sri Swamiji delivered discourse from 7:00pm - 9:00 pm everyday.

On 15th January, Sri Sri Swamiji graced the Coimbatore branch of Sri Chaitanya Mahãprabhu Nãma Bhiksha Kendra. He participated in the Nãma Kirtan and blessed the devotees.

 

January 20th

On behalf of Ãnmiga Samãj of Ambattur, Chennai, the Satsang hall at North Park Street, Venkatapuram, Ambattur was expanded. Sri Sri Swamiji inaugurated the new building and christened it "Sukadãl" and participated in the jubilee celebrations of the Samãj. He also rendered a discourse at 7:30 pm.

January 26th

In view of the Republic Day, Sri Sri Swamiji participated in the Republic day celebrations at Mahãranyam Village School. Sri Sri Swamiji hoisted the national flag and delivered a discourse. He also distributed prizes to the students who had won in different competitions.

January 27th

Sri Sri Swamiji inaugurated the 6th Annual Abhang Sammelan conducted on behalf of Sri Vittal Bhajan Mandali at Sri Rukmani sametha Sri Pãndurangan Sannadhi at Sri Karpaga Vinãyagar Temple, Ãdampãkkam, Chennai. He rendered discourse from 7:00 am to 9:00 am.

January 28th

6:00 pm - 8:30 pm: Sri Sri Swamiji rendered discourse at Vasantha Mantapam, Rãdha Nagar, Chennai on the occasion of the 4th year annual celebrations of Sri Vishnu Sahasranãma Mandali.
