'A sojourn into divinity'
('Bhãvalokaththil oru Sanchãram')

(Tamizh Madhuramurali December 2006)

Sri Sri Swamiji speaks here of His Divine experience --

“It was a full moon night. The beautiful moon in the sky cast its silver rays on the Yamuna river. The gentle waves of the river gracefully reflected the rays, adding to the beauty. The breeze was soft and gentle. It looked as though even the nature did not want to disturb the peaceful environment that prevailed there, like the tranquility in the minds of Jnaanis. Radha and Krishna walked leisurely on the banks of Yamuna with hands around each others shoulders. They saw a boat stationed on the river bank. It was simple yet beautiful. There was a dais in the middle of the boat. Radha expressed her desire to enjoy the boat ride at this pleasant hour.

Krishna seated Radha on the boat and oared the boat. As time rolled by, a thought crossed Radha's mind, "Krishna has been rowing for so long. Would his hands not ache?" She then let Krishna lie with his head on her lap. As Krishna lay so with his legs crossed and eyes half-closed, she gently caressed his forehead and his beautiful tresses with her tender hands.

All of the nature's five elements created by Him wished to perform 'yugala seva' (serve the Lord during his divine play with the consort). The sky ensured that the clouds did not hide the full moon. With her waves, the Yamuna river gently pushed the boat so that it need not be oared. The wind guided the boat in the right direction for its part. Earth instantly blossomed the usual day-time flowers wherever the boat went and added to the charm of the yugala. Agni blended himself with the cool breeze to give comfort and warmth so that the cold breeze does not cause shivers. Thus the five elements served the Lord in yugala and enjoyed happiness."

Such spiritual experiences cannot be possibly appreciated unless the reader either believes in such spiritual experiences or he/she himself has had a taste of similar experiences.
