In Ãmbur, during every full moon and new moon day and special events like Vaikunta Ekãdasi, "Hare Rama …" Mahamantra Nama Kirtan is regularly performed in the Srinivãs Perumãl temple here. Hundreds of devotees have been participating in it and getting benefited. Sri V. Kumaresan and Sri S. Mohankumar of our Satsang have been taking initiative to make it happen in a grand manner.

Recently, Sri Sri Swamiji had requested Sri M.K. Ramanujam of our satsang to talk about 'Bhagavan Nãma Mahima' in places where Nama Sankirtan was being conducted. Later, arriving at Ãmbur from Vellore, Sri Sri Swamiji Himself took part in the Nãma Kirtan and rendered a discourse whence Sri Ramanujam was alongside. The latter's astonishment knew no bounds, the reason being that Sri Sri Swamiji spoke exactly the same words that Sri Ramanujam had prepared for the day's talk!
