Bhakti Vedãnta Book Trust has published the book "Prabhupada" written by Sri Satwaroopadãs Goswami in Tamizh. It is translated into tamizh by Ãnanda Gopãldãs.

Sri Sri Swamiji often says, "I have been astonished by three people in my life. One is Ãdi Sankara; second, Sri Swami Vivekãnanda, third Srila Sri Prabhupãda."

Sri Ãdi Sankara had completed his work in just 32 years. Swami Vivekãnanda lived just less than forty years. But Srila Sri Prabhupãda started his work only when he was seventy. This book speaks briefly about his life history.

The struggle he had undertaken to ensure that Mahãmantra is made to echo in each country of the world; and for this sake, his travel in a free cargo ship; his being afflicted twice by heart problems -- reading all these, one can well understand his complete surrender to the Lord, confidence, steadfastness and service mentality. What is specially astonishing is his approaching those youth of America who were afflicted by negative social practices, and bringing about a vast change in them. One can say that there is virtually no country in the world in which his organization does not function. This includes even communist countries. Today, just as he wished, the organization set up by Mahãprabhu to spread the Maha Mantra is spread throughout the world.
