"Why is the Vedas called 'Trayii'?" Sri Sri Swamiji: The Vedas are in the form of prose, poetry and music; It consists of three major divisions - Rig, Yajur and Sãma; It talks of the three - 'Karma' (ritual), 'Upãsana' (worship) and 'Jnãna' (knowledge). Hence, the Vedas is called as "Trayii". The various incarnations of the Lord vary from one another. Why are they not all the same kind? Sri Sri Swamiji: There are crores of people in this world and they are all not alike. They have neither a common style nor a common voice. When the Lord's creation itself comprises of so many disparities, what is the necessity for the Lord to incarnate the same way every time? He is limitless. Hence, his incarnations are limitless too. I am getting confused by unwanted thoughts in my mind. What shall I do? Sri Sri Swamiji: You get the 'upadesa' of any of the Lord's Divine Names and keep chanting it incessantly. You can attain the highest state with the help of this alone. You do not need any other Sãdhana (spiritual practice). The one whose lips are incessantly chanting the Lord's Name is verily the Jivan Mukta (liberated soul). Experience is quickly gained by chanting with one-pointed mind. The mind can be destroyed by the mind itself.
