H.H. Sri Sri Swamiji performed “Mahabhakta Charitra” ‘upanyãs’ at Sumangali Mahãl Kalyãna Mantap, Mela Vibhuti Prakãram, Thiruvãnaikãval, Tiruchirãpalli, for six days, from 7.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. The hall of the Kalyãna Mantap overflowed with local devotees. Many locals sought and were blessed with ‘Nãma upadesa’ by His Holiness.
His Holiness visited Sri Rangam Temple and Thiruvãnaikãval Temple.
On the 8th instant, after the ‘upanyãs’, His Holiness blessed the local Bhãgavats by His Presence during the ‘Divya Nãmasankirtan’ from 9.15 p.m. to 11.00 p.m.

His Holiness visited the ‘Adhishttãnam’ (Samadhi) of Sri Ramakrishna Yogeeswara, popularly known as ‘Pinnavãsal Periyava’.
The villagers, irrespective of caste and creed, had all gathered at the entrance to the village and offered a very warm welcome to His Holiness through
chanting of the Maha Mantra -
“Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare!
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare!”
The village elders offered ‘Purna kumbha’ and garland to His Holiness.
His Holiness performed ‘abhishekha’ to the ‘Linga’ installed on top of ‘Pinnavãsal Periyava’ Samãdhi and also to the ‘Utsava murti’. This was followed by ‘archana’ and then His Holiness blessed the devotees gathered with ‘abhishekha’ milk prasãd. His Holiness then visited the local Siva Temple and Perumãl Temple. As His Holiness walked through the streets, His Holiness was honoured with ‘purna kumbha’ at every doorstep. His Holiness was then taken into a village home where devotees received ‘kumkum’ and sugar candy prasad at the hands of His Holiness. In this home is seen a photograph of this Yogeeshwara Ramakrishna before he took sanyãsa.
His Holiness then blessed the devotees gathered with an informal speech.
The villagers offered ‘Bhiksha’ (food) to His Holiness.

Akhanda “Hare Rama Hare Krishna” chanting, Premika Bhavanam

Devotees of His Holiness performed ‘akhanda’ (continuous) chanting of ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’ Maha Mantra beginning from 23rd instant morning. The ladies chanted the Maha Mantra from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. while men took up the thread of chanting the Maha Mantra from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Every evening from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. ladies performed ‘kollãttam’ around ‘Divya Nãma Krishna’ and the picture of His Holiness Sri Sri Swamiji placed at the center of Premika Bhavanam Hall.
The city of Chennai is facing severe water problem due to failure of rains. Hence, at the behest of His Holiness Sri Sri Swamiji, the chanting of the
Mantra ‘Yogiramsuratkumar! Yogiramsuratkumar! Yogiramsuratkumar Sat Gururãya!” is being performed every day from 6 a.m to 6 p.m. in the home
of a different devotee of His Holiness since the 6th instant.
