Script from Scriptures (45) The sons of Rishabha Yogi - Kavi, Hari, Anthariksha, Prabuddha, Pippalãyana, Ãvirhotra, Drumila, Chamsa and Karabhãjana (also called as Navayogis) - who were great devotees, at the sacrifice conducted by the King Nimi - "Thus, the people of each Yuga worship SriHari, the Lord of all progress and prosperity, in forms and with names appropriate to that age. Great men who see into the heart of things and understand their good sides look upon the age of Kali with great favor than the other ages. For, only in the age of Kali does a man attain the Lord my merely extolling His Names and excellences. For the jives entangled in this vicious cycle of transmigration (Samsara), there is no better means than taking the Lord’s Name and singing His praise for attainment of peace, enlightenment and liberation. Oh King! Many of them who are born in earlier Yugas long to have embodiment in Kali, for more devotees of Narayana are born in Kali than in other ages. Especially in some parts of Dravida regions of the country through which Taampraparni, Kritamala, Payaswini, the very Holy Kaveri and the great west-flowing Mahanadi have their course devotees of Lord will specially abound. Oh King! Those who drink the waters of these rivers will become purified in mind and generally develop devtotion to Vasudeva, the worshipful Lord." To be continued……….
