Prabhu saw that Nityananda was dancing in a state of ecstatic love ignoring the blood oozing out of his body. The ground where Nityananda was dancing turned red with all the blood that flowed from his body. Prabhu’s blood boiled on seeing this. Nityananda was dancing and singing the sweet names of the Lord even in such a state. Soon, forgetting himself, Prabhu looked up at the sky and shouted with a grunt, “Chakra, Chakra” ( Discus! Discus! ) That act looked as though He called his Sudharsana Chakra to destroy these two sinners. Observing Prabhu’s angry mood Nityananda spoke with humility, “Prabhu! Have you forgotten your Promise! Brush aside your anger regarding these two sinners. If you do not protect them out of your mercy, is there any way out for them? They must become recipients of your grace. I request you to grace them out of compassion.”

Prabhu’s anger did not diminish. The devotees who had not seen Prabhu angry before, trembled with fear now. They were afraid that the destruction of the world was near at hand. An indefinite force emerged in the minds of devotees and they began to strike at Jagayi and Madhayi. The servants of the brothers trembled with fear.

Nityananda fell at the feet of devotees like Murari Gupta and requested them to be calm. By this time, everybody there witnessed the descent of the Sudarshana Chakra from above. All of them trembled in fear. Nityananda meekly prayed to the Sudharshana Chakra to remain in the sky. “Prabho! You have taken a resolution not to punish the sinners or destroy them, but to take them in your fold after reforming them! Will you punish these sinners standing in front of you forgetting that! Do not reduce the glory of your name “Patita Paavana – The Redeemer of fallen ones” Jagayi has not wronged you in any way. On the other hand, he only prevented Madhayi from striking me. It was he who stopped Madhayi from hitting me for a second time. He protected me, he is flawless”.

There was no limit to Prabhu’s joy when he heard that Jagayi had protected Sripad from Madhayi. Prabhu’s body horripulated and he embraced Jagayi with love. “Did you protect my brother! Are you the protector of my dear Nitayi! You are surely very dear to me!” saying thus He tightly hugged him.”

Due to Prabhu's embrace, Jagayi fell unconcious at Prabhu’s feet. The sins that were frozen in his heart melted by the heat of His love like dew and came forth from his eyes as tears. He wept bitterly. Flames of repentance raged in the mind of Madhayi too, who witnessed this state of his brother. With head bent low in shame, he spoke with tears – “Prabho! We have both committed sins equally. You have given refuge to one at your feet. Accept me also and forgive me.” Saying thus he fell at Prabhu’s feet. The people of Nadiya town, stood wonder-struck seeing the two brothers rolling at the feet of Prabhu in humility with their arrogance destroyed.
