Script from Scriptures (32) The sons of Rishabha Yogi - Kavi, Hari, Anthariksha, Prabuddha, Pippalãyana, Ãvirhotra, Drumila, Chamsa and Karabhãjana (also called as Navayogis) - who were great devotees, at the sacrifice conducted by the King Nimi - Prabuddha continued, “He should observe purity of mind and body, perform his duties, be patient and abstain from vain talks. He should study the scriptures, observe continence and practice non-violence. He should view all the dualities that exist in the world in the form of heat and cold, happiness and sorrow etc. with same eye. He should feel and realize the omnipresence of Lord Krishna. He must be in solitude and learn to be satisfied with what is got by chance. He should listen to the scriptures concerning MahaVishnu with love and sincerity. He should always chant the Divine Name of the Lord and do all his duties in constant remembrance of the Lord. He should offer all that he loves to the Lord. He should show friendliness towards all the creatures, human beings and all inanimate things. He should serve the devotees of the Lord and lovingly chant and sing the names and glories of the Lord along with them joyfully. By doing so, he slowly develops “Prema Bhakthi” towards the Lord. Devotees who have attained such a state of Prema Bhakthi remain drowned in the blissful consciousness of Lord Gopala and dance and sing in ecstasy. In such state, at times they imitate the Divine Plays of the Lord and at times totally lose the consciousness of the outer world and remain in a trance. Such devotees of the Lord easily win over the Maya by the strength of their Bhakthi and cross the ocean of Samsara effortlessly. Thus, the easiest way to win Maya and attain the Lord is the through the path of devotion.” ...To be continued
