Yatpãdapankajapalãshavilãsabhaktya karmãshayam grathitamudgrathayanti santah |
tadvanna riktamatayo yatayopi ruddhastrotogannãstamaranam bhaja Vasudevam ||
Resort to Lord Vasudeva as your sole refuge,
By fixing the thought on the splendor of the toes,
Of whose Lotus-Feet pious souls cut asunder the knot of egotism,
Which is formed in a manner that even recluses who have withdrawn from the world and emptied their mind, are unable to cut asunder.
