The Presence of Bhagavãn comes only through Maha Mantra kirtan!

Lord Ananthapadmanãbhan, sung by the Ãzhwãrs, is in Thiruvananthapuram (State of Kerala, S.India). Sri Janãrdhana swami temple is found in the Kshetra Varkalai that is situated nearby. Here, the Lord is in the form of performing ‘ãchamana’ (a daily ritual of a Brahmin).

Swami Abhedãnanda ashram is situated near Thiruvananthapuram temple. Swami Abhedãnanda was a great bhakta of Radhadevi. He was a Mahatma who deep within used to always chant ‘Radhe! Radhe!’ and also make others chant the same. He used to frequently visit and stay in solitude in Barsãna, the birthplace of Radhadevi. For the past forty years the Maha Mantra Kirtan of
‘Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare!
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare!’
is being performed continuously without any break in his ashram.

Recently, His Holiness Sri Swamiji during his visit to Thiruvananthapuram visited Swami Abhedãnanda ashram. Here, on the first floor a lamp was burning. A young Bhakta, playing a ‘tambura’ melodiously, was circumambulating this lamp even as he was chanting the Maha Mantra. As soon as stepping on to this place His Holiness Sri Swamiji went into ecstasy. He ‘felt’ the PRESENCE here. His Holiness Sri Swamiji performed ‘anga pradakshina’ (lying down on the ground and rolling in circumambulation) even as He chanted the Maha Mantra.

After His visit to Swami Abhedãnanda ashram His Holiness Sri Swamiji incessantly speaks, with wonderment, the Presence of Bhagavãn in that place. His Holiness Sri Swamiji said, “This place is an evidence for the ‘sãnidhya’ (Presence) of Bhagavãn coming about only through the chanting of the Maha Mantra kirtan without any performance of Homa, dhyãna or yãga!”

“ Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare!
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare !"
