2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. - His Holiness Sri Sri Swamiji performed Thirumanjanam and archana
to Sri Kalyãna Srinivãsa Perumãl.
The innumerable devotees gathered that Thursday afternoon included local villagers and devotees from out station. All chanted the Maha Mantra,
“HARE RAMA HARE RAMA RAMA RAMA HARE HARE!
HARE KRISHNA HARE KRISHNA KRISHNA KRISHNA HARE HARE!”
incessantly.
After the puja to Perumãl, Sri Swamiji blessed all the devotees with ‘teerta prasad’.
‘Puliyodarai’, curd rice, ‘sakkarai pongal’ prasad were distributed to all devotees.
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. - In the new Hall, His Holiness Sri Sri Swamiji spoke on ‘Nãma
mahima’ (glory of the Lord’s Name).
After the discourse innumerable devotees from other parts of Tamizhnadu surrounded His Holiness and sought clarification with regard to religion and spiritual practice.
His Holiness while clarifying their doubts said to them, “If you have sincere thirst for knowledge and strive truthfully you will attain a Sadguru with whose help you will achieve the end purpose of this life. All doubts will come to an end only on attaining spiritual goal. Doubts will never cease until then. So, one should keep moving in the path shown by the Guru.”
