Srimad Bhãgavatam (10:14:34):


Tad bhooribhagyamiha janma kimapyatavyãm
Yad gokulepi katamãnghrirajobhishekam |
Yajjeevitam tu nikhilam Bhagavãn mukundah
Tvadyãpi yatpadarajah shrutimrugyameva ||
It will indeed be the pinnacle of our good fortune
If we are born as any object, be it even a blade of grass,
In this Vrindavana, especially in this cowherd settlement
Where we could get the chance of being bathed in the foot dust of any of its inhabitants.
For, the bond of love has made them one in life with Him whose foot-dust is
Even today the earnest quest of the Srutis.
