The sons of Rishabha Yogi - Kavi, Hari, Anthariksha, Prabuddha, Pippalãyana, Ãvirhotra, Drumila, Chamsa and Karabhãjana (also called as Navayogis) - who were great devotees, at the sacrifice conducted by the King Nimi -

Kavi continued, “Though really non existing, the world takes a form and seems to exist by the mere force of our thoughts just as a dream. Thus, the mind, which is nothing but a collection of thoughts, should be destroyed. Destruction of the mind makes one fearless. For destroying the mind one should live in the world devoid of attachments, singing the glories of the Lord and His incarnations, listening to and chanting the Divine Name of the Lord. Such a person, due to his overflowing love towards Lord Hari, will at times laugh aloud and at times would cry out thinking about the unsparing compassion of the Lord. At times he would sing aloud out of joy. Moreover, he would see everything in this world- sun, moon, space, water, stars, earth and everything else as verily the form of Sri Hari.

Whoever worships Lord Hari will have the vision of the Lord and will be free from all the attachments. He will attain dispassion towards everything in this world that is other than Sri Hari. Thus filled with dispassion and devotion, he attains peace in this world itself.”
