Srivas Pundit felt he should try as much as he could to make others too experience this fortune that he had obtained. It is but natural to desire to share a supreme object that one has got, with people dear to us! He whispered in Advaitacharya’s ears - Poor Shachimata ! She always used to feel sad and say ‘Nimayi is an ordinary boy. It is you people who are spoiling him in such a fashion’. Shouldn’t we show her today who Nimayi really is? Shouldn’t we tell her - “He is not your son. He is the father of the entire world”. Advaitacharya too replied - “Yes! Yes! Shachimata should surely get a glimpse of this form. Run! Run!”

In a short while, they returned with Shachimata. Advaitacharya adressed Shachi Mata - “Mother! Look! Whom you consider to be your son, is not your son! He is the Lord indeed! Have a glimpse of Him and fructify your very birth.” Shachimata stood dumb-founded. She could not understand what she had to do. Seeing this pitiable state of the mother, Srivas Pundit went to Prabhu himself and prayed - “Lord! The mother of the whole world, Shachimata, stands before you! She has had the fortune of becoming your mother. Be gracious and reveal to her your true form.”

With a loud grunt, Prabhu said immediately - “I shall not shower my grace on Shachimata. She has always been criticizing the Vaishnavites. Did she not complain that the Vaishnavites have spoilt Nimayi?” Soon Advaitacharya replied - “Lord! Mother has no ill feelings towards the Vaishnavites. She must have spoken those words due to excessive attachment to you, her son, out of maternal affection. She has not erred. You must pity her.”

Even as He was pleading thus, Srivas Pundit whispered into mother’s ears - “Mother! Offer your salutations to the lotus feet of the Lord.” Noticing that she hesitated a bit, Advaitacharya said - “Mother! Forget that Nimayi is your son. With devotion in your heart, prostrate him without delay.” Urged by him, the mother went forward and fell totally at Prabhu’s lotus feet and prostrated him. She then spoke in a tremulous voice choked with emotion - “Lord! An ignorant lady like me knows not You or Your greatness! Irrespective of that you ought to shower your grace on me. Seeing his mother prostrating - Prabhu placed his lotus feet on her head and said - “Go! All the offences you have committed towards Vaishavites have been forgiven! My grace has been bestowed completely on you”. Shachimata, who heard this, got elated and cried aloud.
