A memorable day... On 10th February, 2002, at the behest of Sri Swamiji, about seven of us from the Satsang went to Tiruvannamalai to meet Smt. Kanakamma, devotee of Bhagavãn Ramana Maharishi. In Ramanashramam, we learnt that this great devotee (she has been blessed to spend several years in the Holy Presence of Bhagavãn Ramana Maharishi) of Ramana Maharishi had left for Chennai! After visiting places connected with Bhagavãn Ramana Maharishi, we visited the ashram of Bhagavãn Yogiramsuratkumar. Ma Devaki received us with warmth. We felt deeply touched to find her every breath filled with her Guru Bhagavãn Yogiramsurakumar. Ma Devaki said that Yogi’s words and actions were never wasted but limited to the need. Further, she said, “Yogi used to say that every movement of the sadhak should be a sadhana.” “Once when I was leaving the ashram with Yogi, He smiled at a person who stood at the gates. I asked Him if he was known to Him. Yogi smilingly said, “No!” However, he made me realize that ‘for Him nobody was a stranger!’ “Any object, be it a small piece of paper, should remain wherever Yogi had placed them. I could not displace them even by ‘an inch’, without seeking His permission. Yogi would say, ‘Any displacement of the objects here would bring about a great impact in the cosmos!’ “Yogi was very simple. He would put forth even the highest philosophies in simple words.” Ma Devaki then added, ‘Profundity and simplicity always seem to go together.’ Driving around The Holy Beacon, we left Tiruvannamalai for Chennai to meet Smt. Kanakamma. To be continued…………….
