Bhagavãn Sri Krishna’s dialogue with His loving devotee, Uddhava. (Srimad Bhãgavatam - 11th Skanda)

Uddhava: "Who is a fool?"

Sri Krishna: "One who considers the body as the self and enjoys the pleasures derived from the senses is a fool."

Uddhava: “What is the right path?”

Sri Krishna: “That which leads one unto Me, is the right path.”

Uddhava: “Which is the wrong path?”

Sri Krishna: “The path of worldly activity (which distracts the mind) is the wrong path.”

Uddhava: “What is Heaven?”

Sri Krishna: “Having good qualities is Heaven."

Uddava: “What is Hell?”

Sri Krishna: “Predominance of indolence is Hell.”

Uddhava: “Who is one's relative?”

Sri Krishna: “The preceptor is one’s relative and he is none other than Me.”

Uddhava: “Which is the house?”

Sri Krishna: “The human body is the house.”

Uddhava: “Who is wealthy?”

Sri Krishna: "He alone who abounds in virtues is said to be wealthy."

Uddhava: “Who is poor?”

Sri Krishna: “One who is discontented is poor."

Uddhava: "Who is the Master?"

Sri Krishna: "One whose mind is not attached to the object of the senses is the master of his Self (Ishwara)."

Uddhava: “Who is a slave?”

Sri Krishna: "One who is attached to the pleasures of the senses is a slave."

Thus Krishna answered the questions of Uddhava and further told, “Uddhava! Seeing the virtues and faults of others is vice, whereas developing a disposition entirely free from that is virtue."
