Love Bhagavãn and do not desire Bhagavãn as you would a worldly possession (‘Aasai vaikãdhe anbu vai’). Do not desire the world. The mother loves her child for no reason at all. And so do lovers crave for each other. No reason can be cited for this love. Such love should develop between a Bhakta and Bhagavãn - love that seeks absolutely nothing. Only when such craving is born will it lead to liberation. How will such craving be born? Only through deep bhakti. When such selfless bhakti is born, Bhagavãn reveals Himself gradually and blesses the bhakta with Nishta(one-pointedness).
