The Translation

“Salutations! again and again, to You, Sri Muralidhara!
the abode of all Auspiciousness, Oh! My Gurudeva!

(Salutations to the One)
who brims with the essence of Love!
who drenches everybody with that Love of His!
who is the bestower of Prema Bhakti!
   and
who is none but the incarnation of ‘Love’!

(One)
whose power is infinite and blemishless!
who shows motherly love to all those taken refuge in Him!
   whose life is wonderful!
who has no equal! (with whom to compare?)

(One)
whose Lotus-like Feet gladden the pure-hearted ones! and,
whose beautiful and Divine Form is highly attractive and captivating!

who distributes (bestows) the Name of Hari to one and all!
who destroys the disease called ‘Kali’!
who uplifts the down-trodden! and One,
who fondles with love the surrendered souls!

(One)
who is like a full-moon to the (Kumuda) lily-like
     hearts of his own people!
whose pair of feet are as cool and soft like the
     rays of the moon!
whose Form is as radiant and shining as though
     made of gold!
Sadugurunãtha! Who is verily my fortune (accumulated over births!)

(One)
     who converses soothingly!
whose glance is laden with love!
whose face sparkles with a gentle smile!
who is the hero of my heart!”
