Guru Poornima Report
Dhyãna moolam Guror Murtih
Source of Meditation is the Form of the Guru!
“The unique feature of our Religion is the Vedas. All Epics speak of the Vedas only. Be it Srimad Bhagavatam, Ramayana or Mahabharata or any other Epic - all speak only of the matters contained in the Vedas. The Vedas was grasped and given to the world by Sage Vyasa. And the Epics written by none other than the same Sage Vyasa, who it is said is none other than Nãrãyana Himself. Hence, this ‘ãshãda Poornima’ is celebrated as Vyasa Poornima/Guru Poornima.” ------- Sri Swamiji in His address on Guru Poornima at Sri Rama Bhajana Sabha Hall, Malleswaram, Banglore, S.India.
Vyasa Puja : Vyasa Puja began at 8.10 a.m. in Sri Rama Bhajana Sabha Hall, Malleswaram, Bangalore. It was performed by Sri Kannan Dikshitar and Sri Mrithunjaya Sarma. Vedic chanting was done.
