The microphone in the band (North Indian Wedding music band) was taken over by Sri Sumanth Bhãgavata and party.

“Radhe Shyam! Radhe Shyam! Radhe Shyam! Radhe Shyam!”

The Bhajan ‘goshti’ took the lead in the procession followed by Sri Krishna on the horse; close at heel followed Sri Swamigal, Bhãgavatas and all the devotees.

Devotees took turn in offering wafter services to Sri Krishna.

Janavasam

The young male devotees danced all the way singing loudly, “Radhe Govinda! Radhe Govinda!”, “Radhe Shyam! Radhe Shyam!”, “Sri Krishna Charanam mama! Sri Hari Charanam mama!”

The long procession wound through the narrow ‘galis’ (lanes) of Vrindavan. The ‘vraja vãsiis’ lined up on both sides with folded hands, bhakti spilling eyes and drinking in the beauty of the Lord. In the bazaar lane, a shopkeeper cut through the procession line and garlanded Sri Swamigal. The windows on the first and second floor of the closely set houses opened out quickly as the sound of “Radhe Shyam! Radhe Shyam!” reached them. Ladies - young and old and little girls looked out with glee on their faces -- The scene of Krishna’s return to Mathura from Vrindavan! The scene of Sri Rama’s return to Ayodhya after 14years of exile in the forest! In all, it took three hours to return to Raghunath Ashram with the ‘Lordly’ groom!

11.00 p.m.

Day closed with Dolotsava.
