Naama Kirtanam on the Streets

SHRIMAD BHAGAVATHAM says,

Naama sankirthanam yasya sarva paapa pranaashanam
Pranamo dhukkhashamanaha tham namaami Harim param"

Which means

HE, the LORD, whose naama(name) when chanted, destroys all sins,
HE, who removes all sorrows when one prostrates,
Unto such HARI, I bow down"

In this Kali Yuga, the easiest path to GOD REALISATION is HARI NAAMA SANKIRTHANAM (singing the name/glory of Lord Hari). The main objective of our MISSION is to take this message to every nook and corner of the world and to make Hari naama sankirthanam a universal language.

As our Swamigal says the greatness of Hari naama sankirthanam lies in the fact that this is one maarga (path) that apart from taking one to eternal bliss gives immeasurable joy even while practising it. The uniqueness of this maarga (path) is the ease with which it can be practised. None can say, "I cannot chant Hari naama," because even while saying so one has uttered the name of Lord Hari. Chanting apart, even just listening to Hari naama sankirthanam leads one to God realization. A Bhagavatha (a person chanting Hari naama) experiences a sense of fulfillment even when a person mocks at his naama sankirthanam for, while doing so, he has uttered Hari naama.

As directed by our Swamigal, Nagara Sankirtan happens at regular intervals at various cities so that the devotees of the city or town or village get together and happily sing on the streets,

HARE RAMA HARE RAMA RAMA RAMA HARE HARE
HARE KRISHNA HARE KRISHNA KRISHNA KRISHNA HARE HARE"

fThe BOUNDLESS GRACE of our Swamigal, the joy of chanting HARI NAAMA, the enthusiasm of the team and the interest shown by the public make the whole experience very blissful!
